Was recommended to try out Carter’s and it did not disappoint! Tried the roast pork and everything was awesome, will definitely be returning to try out the others next time. Highly recommend for anyone going through the Redfern area 🙏

Exceptional food AND service. A much welcome addition to the neighbourhood. Try and get there before 1:30 on the weekend otherwise the crackling pork might sell out!

What a find. Friendly and efficient service but the food is still the star of this little shop. So fresh and the banh mi is served on a wonderfully crunchy bread. The sauce is not overpowering and just enough to complement the crispy roast pork filling. Highly recommend.

Amazing Bahn mi! Love the BBQ chicken and fish cakes and you have to try the Vietnamese iced coffee. Lovely staff with great service!

Stumbled across this place and so glad we decided to try it. Best pork crackling banh mi ever. The pork was juicy and tender and the crackling was perfect. Generous amount and the guys who served us was absolutely amazing! Looking forward to coming back

The most delicious banh mi I’ve ever had. My sister and I had the bbq chicken and it made our day. The bread was fresh and crispy. The chicken was succulent and fresh. Everything was a fresh mouthwatering bite and the service was so warm and friendly. Apparently we were the first to order through the website. The website was very user friendly, easy to amend the options if you wanted to amend the banh mi (I.e. no chilli). I recommend ordering online if you need to get take away so it’s ready for pickup. Thank you so much for making our day will definitely be back to try other options!

We always have a consistently amazing experience at Carters pork rolls. Everyone who works here is friendly and dedicated!They make their own pate using chicken liver not pork like many others, they also lightly blanche the spring onion to lessen the sharpness of the flavour.My 6 year old specifically loves their pork rolls and does half barbecue chicken.

This piece of art has come about by the collaboration between two artists. Jessica Green who is a Wiradjuri/Dharug woman and Jermaine Sagigi who is a Tores Strait man with origins to the Badu Island.

Together Jessica and Jermaine created this piece with the idea of representing what Redfern means to them and what it is to many who come through here.

Ngurang is a Dharug word for "meeting place"
